As a followup to my blog posting about Collaborate 2010, I thought I’d just add that BIWA will be participating in Collaborate 11, in Orange County Convention Center, in Orlando Florida, April 10-14, 2011. This is great news. Having BIWA as part of Collaborate was a great idea this year and the sessions were very well attended. Looking forward to participating in BIWA again next year. Would also be nice if you also had the hands-on sessions again next year. At Collaborate 10, we had a session where we showed people how to use Excel with Oracle OLAP cubes using the Simba MDX Provider. After the session, I spoke to a few of the people who attended and they found that although Excel is ubiquitous, they found it was nice to have someone walk them through how to use Excel with Oracle OLAP cubes.
Thanks, Amyn. Yes, we are planning on HOLs next year as well, perhaps expanding them a bit. The Simba MDX provider session was great–I heard good comments from that as well.
