Oracle Business Intelligence Mobile App Released

Oracle has released their first iPad app for OBIEE today!  This application is a companion to the newly released 11.1.1.5.0 release of OBIEE 11g.   Now mobile users can have access to their dashboards, alerts and perform ad hoc queries against their OBIEE Server using the power of the iPad and other iOS devices.  This is not like what you get with a browser.  The full interactive interaction is supported on the iPad without having to have Flash installed.  Plus if you are using your iPhone or  have cellular service installed on iPad you can have access anywhere in the world.

 

The app is available free from iTunes.  It should be noted that it does require OBIEE 11.1.1.5.0 and is not backward compatible with previous releases.
