Foks,

I’m headed back home from a packed week at Oracle OpenWorld.  Tim and I saw many sessions and met with many people.  I apologize if we didn’t connect – very busy conference.

Anyway, we have scheduled our Fourth Annual BI and Analytics Unauthorized Scoop Session for October 16, 2014 at noon Central and I’d like to ask for your help.  Tim and I have lots of ideas (we’ll be discussing this more next week), but I’d like to ask for your help, in effect crowd-sourcing the ideas for the webcast.

For those that attended:

  • What did you find interesting?
  • Any funny stories to share?
  • What was different from what you expected?

For those that didn’t attend:

  • What would you want to know?
  • Are you more interested in the “behind the scenes” or the “major announcements”?

For any of you, please invite others to the webcast.  We have the recordings of the last 3 years on our web site so you can see the sort of things that we cover.  We draw one of the largest crowds for an IOUG webcast. I expect some of you may want to email me separately – that’s fine.  we’ll gather the input and give credit to the source (or hide that if you’d prefer!).  In any case, I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you!
