Business Intelligence Consultant

As a BI Consultant with Vlamis Software, you will experience all phases of a business intelligence project. You will meet with prospects and clients, design solutions, and implement those solutions using the industry leading Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) software. You will also work with leaders in the Oracle BI and data warehousing community. Job functions include:

Develop requirements for BI systems
Design BI systems
Manage client expectations
Provide progress updates to management and clients
Work on proposals for new systems
Assist in the design of data warehouses and ETL processes
Use BI Admin tool to design metadata (RPD files) for BI systems
Create reports, dashboards and other presentation objects for BI systems
Present at Oracle conferences

Basic requirements:

Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in technology
2+ years of experience with data warehouses - Oracle DB, SQL Server, or DB2
2+ years of experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE)

Other requirements:

Ability and willingness to travel
Based near major airport
Access to home office (or office in Liberty, MO)
Presentation skills
Positive attitude, analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and self-initiative are required
Excellent communication skills - Ability to speak and write in English well and interact with clients
Experience with the OBIEE 11g is a plus
Oracle Certification in OBIEE is a plus
Experience with BI Applications is a plus
Experience with multidimensional databases is a plus

Oracle Data Warehouse Consultant

As an Oracle Data Warehouse Consultant with Vlamis Software, you will experience all phases of a data warehouse project. You will meet with prospects and clients, design data warehouses, and implement those solutions using the industry leading Oracle database. You will also work with leaders in the Oracle business intelligence and data warehousing community. Job functions include:

Develop requirements for data warehouses and BI systems
Design data warehouses
Manage client expectations
Provide progress updates to management and clients
Work on proposals for new systems
Assist in the design of BI systems
Use Oracle tools such as: SQL Developer, SQL Developer Data Modeler, Toad, Erwin, Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator, and Oracle Warehouse Builder to design databases and model ETL processes
Work with Oracle Business Intelligence Admin Tool to map physical tables to logical tables
Install and maintain Vlamis' internal databases
Work with beta software
Present at Oracle conferences

Basic requirements:

Bachelor's degree
5+ years of experience in technology
3+ years with Oracle databases and associated tools - Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle Warehouse Builder, or Informatica or similar tools
2+ years of experience with data warehouses

As Sales Manager with Vlamis Software, you will be responsible for all sales for Vlamis Software Solutions. You will qualify leads, meet with prospects, and develop proposals for clients. This will include attending and presenting at major Oracle conferences and working with leaders in the Oracle BI and data warehousing community. Job functions include:

Develop national sales strategy for consulting company
Develop marketing material
Qualify and track leads through sales pipeline
Resell software and services from related companies
Create proposals and work through sales process
Negotiate and renew contracts with customers
Present at Oracle conferences

5+ years of experience in technology

Administrative Assistant and Office Manager

As an Administrative Assistant and Office Manager with Vlamis Software, you will have unparalleled opportunities to be involved in the business. Because this is a small office, you do essentially everything involved in running a small professional services business, including:

Entering and maintaining timesheets for consultants
Accounting work – invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable
Scheduling and making travel arrangements
Researching purchases and purchasing office supplies
Customer service
Answering the phone and directing calls
Writing letters and proofreading
Contract administration
Benefits administration
Receiving, sending and distributing mail
General office duties including filing
Creating and editing PowerPoint presentations

Basic requirements:
